This explains everything that is going to happen to Jerusalem, please read and forward to friends

What will the impact be if Jerusalem is divided?
Some of God’s people are being led to believe that creating a separate ‘Palestinian State’
within Israel will lead to peace, but perhaps the scripture verse in Ezekiel 13 shows that
we are living in the End-Times and that nothing will bring peace to Israel until Messiah
Yeshua (Jesus) returns.

When the Partition Wall went up the world cried out that Israel was creating Apartheid,
but all they were doing was keeping the terrorist suicide bombers out of Israel.
Now that’s it been a number of years, it seems the Partition Wall in some ways has helped
people visualize the “Palestinians” having their own State.

“…because they have seduced My people saying ‘peace!’ when there is no peace –and one
builds a wall, and they plaster it with untempered mortar – say to those who plaster it with
untempered mortar, that it will fall.” (Ezekiel 13:10)

Taking back Jerusalem in 1967
Many are questioning what will happen this coming September if the United Nations decides in favor of what is being called the ‘Two State Solution’.

Basically, it would mean that the Palestinians would be given the official right to declare their own separate state in the Land of Israel, with a return to the pre-1967 borders of Israel.

Perhaps a more important question for people outside Israel, besides ‘what will happen?’  is, “So what…!” In other words, why should people in the “nations” even care what happens in this tiny,
far off, Middle Eastern Country?  So what if Jerusalem is divided again between the Jewsand the Arabs, like it was prior to 1967?

In order to answer this question, we need to review a bit of history.

In 1967, due to an amazing military triumph, the entire city of Jerusalem came into Jewish hands for the first time in thousands of years!  The Arabs were stunned at the stupendous Israeli victory.

The tiny David once again slew the mighty giant, Goliath (all the surrounding Arab nations)! Hardened Israeli soldiers wept unashamedly as they reached and reclaimed the Western
Wall and the country was in a state of Euphoria!  Many exclaimed, “The days of Messiah have come!”

Anyone who has studied Jewish history will admit that the survival and restoration of the nation of Israel has been a result of miracle after miracle after miracle.

Those who have come against Israel have been either destroyed or their power significantly decreased, proving the truth of God’s word, “I will bless those who bless you and those who curse you I will curse.” (Genesis 12:3)

The British Empire had opportunity to bless Israel but they missed it. In 1917, Britain declared a homeland in Palestine for the Jewish people;however they subsequently went back on their word, giving 76% of the territory to the Jordanians, and further dividing up what was left.

In the British White Paper, only 75,000 Jews per year were allowed to immigrate to Palestine and after 1944, only those whom the Arabs would allow. Many, many Jewish people who could have been saved by finding refuge in Palestine instead perished in Hitler’s ovens due to Britain’s restrictive policies.

For this sin, this same Britain, of which was said, “The sun never sets on the British Empire,”
was reduced after World War II, to a mere shadow of its former glory.

They had missed their greatest opportunity to bless Israel and had placed themselves under
God’s curse instead by breaking their word to Israel and turning their back on her in her time of need.

Ovens in Auschwitz

So enough of the history lesson – the question remains - what relevance does this have for the nations of the world today?

The future of the nations may depend upon their decision with regards to dividing up Israel this coming September 2011.

The Lord promises to enter into judgment with all those nations who attempt to divide up His Land.  (Joel 3:2)

It is not actually Israel who owns this tiny piece of land, but God Himself.
We have no right to sell, or divide, or give away any portion of this Land, for God
Himself holds the title deed. (Leviticus 25:23)

Right now, Arab young people are protesting in Egypt and all over the Middle East.
The majority of Egyptians want to break the peace treaty with Israel. Islam carries on the theology of Hitler; the President of Iran speaks for the same hatred towards the Jews that Hitler spoke.

Anti- Semitism is rising all over the earth.  Islam is spreading like a cancerous spirit of death across the nations. Sure there are many Muslim moderates because those people are secular, just like there are moderate Christians who are not religious. However there is a huge population of radical religious Muslims who are out to conquer, and this is a spiritual battle. Its desire is to destroy not only Israel and the Jews, but also Christians and the Western nations, including the United States. In fact their mandate is to annihilate all those who will not bow their knee to Allah. And yet, God’s word promises that any nation of kingdom who will not serve Israel
will perish and their nation shall be utterly ruined.  (Isaiah 60: 12)

Let’s put this in Scripture Context:
Isaiah 60
The Glory of Zion
1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the LORD rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
4 “Lift up your eyes and look about you:
   All assemble and come to you;
your sons come from afar,
and your daughters are carried on the hip.
5 Then you will look and be radiant,
   your heart will throb and swell with joy;
the wealth on the seas will be brought to you,
to you the riches of the nations will come.
6 Herds of camels will cover your land,
young camels of Midian and Ephah.
And all from Sheba will come,
   bearing gold and incense
and proclaiming the praise of the LORD.
7 All Kedar’s flocks will be gathered to you,
   the rams of Nebaioth will serve you;
they will be accepted as offerings on my altar,
and I will adorn my glorious temple.
8 “Who are these that fly along like clouds,
   like doves to their nests?
9 Surely the islands look to me;
in the lead are the ships of Tarshish,
bringing your children from afar,
   with their silver and gold,
to the honor of the LORD your God,
   the Holy One of Israel,
for he has endowed you with splendor.
10 “Foreigners will rebuild your walls,
and their kings will serve you.
Though in anger I struck you,
in favor I will show you compassion.
11 Your gates will always stand open,
they will never be shut, day or night,
so that people may bring you the wealth of the nations—
their kings led in triumphal procession.
12 For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish;
   it will be utterly ruined.

It is a hard word, but only the truth will set us free.  Look what happened to England. And here are more reasons why the nations, especially the Arab nations will come against Israel.

The London-based World Energy Council says Israel’s Shfela Basin, a half-hour drive south
of Jerusalem, holds 250 billion barrels of recoverable shale oil, possibly making the energy-vulnerable country (as expressed by The Wall Street Journal) “the world’s newest energy giant.” With reserves of 260 billion barrels, Saudi Arabia would remain the world’s No. 1 oil country – though not, perhaps, for long. Howard Jonas, CEO of U.S.-based IDT Corp., the company that owns the Shfela Basin concession, says there is much more oil under Israel than under Saudi Arabia: Perhaps, he says, twice as much.

This will make Israel the third-largest holder of shale reserves in the world.

Israel should be pumping oil within three or four years. Also on board is Shell Oil’s remarkable top scientist, Harold Vinegar, who says the Shfela oil is not only abundant but premium quality as well: “The equivalent of Saudi extra-light.” Israel will be able to free its long-time friend the United States from needing to deal with tyrants who control the oil of the world.

Back to our Scriptural opinion piece... we don’t do the enemies of Israel any favors by allowing them to remain in deception.  What will happen to the nations who come against Israel will only be disaster, it is holy to the Lord, Israel is His firstborn. “Israel was holiness to the Lord, the firstfruits of His increase. All that devour him will offend;Disaster will come upon them,” says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 2:3) Believers around the world need to pray for their leaders to stand with Israel. They need to be warned not to join with the rebels who come against Jerusalem.

God will make Jerusalem like a cup of trembling to all the surrounding nations who lay siege to Judah.  Jerusalem will be like a very heavy stone to all the people, and all those who try to heave it away will be shredded into pieces by the Holy One of Israel (Zechariah 12:3)

Those who dare to war against the ‘apple of God’s eye’ will be ashamed, disgraced, and brought to nothing:  “All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.”  (Isaiah 41:11-12)

Perhaps the best question to ask ourselves is, “Where will I stand when this outrage actually begins to take place?”

Will I join with the rebels, the enemies of Israel and share in their destruction? Or will I count the cost and decide to stand with Israel until the very end?

Understand that it isn’t easy to live here in Israel.  We don’t agree with all of our government’s polices.  They make it very hard for us Believers in Yeshua (Jesus) here, taxes are very high, etc…
However the Bible is clear about the Land of Israel.

What is the solution for the Palestinians?

There is no political solution, but only the hope of their salvation through accepting Yeshua Hamashiach ( the Messiah). Only when the Arabs receive the Jewish Messiah and read the Bible do they come to know the truth, repent for their hatred of Israel and come to love the Jewish people. The Israel government, knowing this, even encourages Christian Missionary work amongst Arabs. What is it like for the average Israeli – to be pressed on every side?

The two greatest pressures that Israel faces are:
1) Iran – speaking just like Hitler did before the Holocaust
2) United Nations – predominantly Muslim and anti-Israel
The United Nations includes the Arab League of Nations comprised of 50 Arab nations and 70-80 other nations which are partially or wholly Muslim, therefore the U.N. is overwhelmingly influenced by Islam. Whichever direction these oil-rich countries determine, most of the other nations will just follow along. This September, the United Nations is planning to declare a Palestinian state in the nation of Israel without her approval or consent.

Here is the basis of the conflict:  Israel asks for only two concessions:
1) Recognize Israel’s right to exist
2) Stop all terrorism

To both these requests, the Arabs shout No!

They plan to declare their state, even if the U.N. does not agree. What will happen if the United States does not use its veto power to stop this U.N. anti-Israel resolution from passing? The nations that comes against Israel, who fail to bless and stand with Israel, who agree to divide up her land, will see unprecedented tragedy such as never has been seen before!

What is the only solution?  Believe in the Lord Yeshua and come under the shelter of His wings.

Time is speeding up.

We are in the hour of the end times.  We must share the Good News of the Kingdom of Heaven, Yeshua, and salvation with as many people as possible – to the Jew first and also to the Gentile.  (Romans 1:16) “I will grant salvation to Zion, my splendor to Israel.” (Isaiah 46:13)

God temporarily blinded the eyes of the Jewish people to their own Messiah in order that salvation could come to the Gentiles.

What will it mean for the Christian Church when the people of Israel say, "Baruch Haba B’shem Adonai”  “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord”? LIFE FROM THE DEAD! “For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?”  (Romans 11:15)

Democracy collapses in Europe: EU cancels SIOA/SIOE free speech rally Freedom from jihad flotilla to launch on 9/11

STRASBOURG, FRANCE, June 28: In a capitulation to Islamic supremacists and violent radical Leftists, French and European Union authorities have canceled a free speech rally planned by a coalition of American and European human rights organizations in Strasbourg, the seat of the European Parliament.

The human rights organizations Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) and Stop Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) were planning to hold their first-ever transatlantic summit in Strasbourg, France, on July 2.

The SIOA/SIOE summit was dedicated to the defense of the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and the equality of rights of all people before the law – all principles denied by Islamic law.
SIOA Executive Director Pamela Geller said in a statement: “The Strasbourg police could not guarantee our safety. When the thugs of the Antifa group and Islamic supremacist organizations announced plans to hold a violent counter-demonstration and to do everything they could to disrupt our activities, the authorities canceled permission for our demonstration and conference, instead of standing up to these violent neo-fascists and their Islamic supremacist allies.”
Strasbourg authorities told SIOA and SIOE organizers that they could not guaranteee their safety at the conference and demonstration location, the Place de la Republique. Efforts were made to hold the demonstration nearby, but the authorities still considered security to be too much of an issue.
Muslims and Leftist fascists previously burned down a hotel in Strasbourg during a NATO summit, and burned a large number of cars in a car park during riots in the same city.
SIOA and SIOE are not intimidated, and will demonstrate in the future, just as we did in Harrow, Copenhagen and Aalborg. This planned Strasbourg demonstration and conference will be rescheduled.
Geller added: “Once again democracy is being denied in Europe. But we are not giving in. On the contrary: when our governing authorities are refusing to protect freedom, we have to do it ourselves. That’s the impetus for ourFreedom From Jihad Flotilla.”
“The SIOA/SIOE Freedom From Jihad aid flotilla,” Geller explained, “is intended to be a direct response to the capitulation of French, European, and American authorities to Leftist and Islamic supremacist forces of oppression and injustice. It is set to launch after our national Rally for Freedom at Ground Zero on the tenth anniversary of the Islamic jihad attacks that murdered three thousand Americans.”
The Audacity of the Infidel will launch on September 11 from the New York harbor closest to the World Trade Centersite. On board will be freedom fighters from all over the world, united in defense of human rights and human dignity against Islamic supremacist oppression.
The mission is the first attempt by free citizens anywhere in the world to come to the aid of non-Muslims persecuted for their faith in Muslim countries. It is a direct response to the heavily-armed Leftist/jihadist flotilla that attempted to violate Israel’s legal maritime blockade of Hamas-ruled Gaza on May 31, 2010. In that incident, Turkish jihadists onboard one ship attacked Israeli soldiers without provocation; nine jihadists were killed in the battle. The Freedom From Jihad Flotilla is also a response to the Audacity of Hope flotilla that is soon to set sail to continue the jihad against Israel, with plans to use chemical weapons against Israeli forces.
The Freedom From Jihad Flotilla will offer aid to persecuted Christians, Hindus, and other non-Muslims, and call upon the international community to recognize Muslim persecution of non-Muslims as a violation of international law, to be punished with strict economic sanctions and other appropriate action.
The first stop will be Greece, in recognition of the Greek victims of jihad in Anatolia for well over a thousand years. The Freedom From Jihad Flotilla will then sail along the Turkish coast, where speakers will pay homage to the millions of victims of the Armenian and Greek genocides in Turkey.
The next stop will be Egypt. All Coptic Christians seeking to escape Islamic oppression will be saved. Subsequent stops will include Nigeria, Pakistan, Indonesia, and other areas where Christians are facing persecution from Muslims. The freedom flotilla will also include stops in Bangladesh, for Hindus facing Muslim persecution, andThailand, for Buddhists facing the same persecution.
SIOA is the foremost organization in America dedicated to defending human rights, religious liberty, and the freedom of speech against Islamic supremacist intimidation and attempts to bring elements of Sharia to the West.
The SIOA Freedom From Jihad Flotilla will call upon the international community to act in defense of these basic human rights:
  • The freedom of speech – as opposed to Islamic prohibitions of “blasphemy” and “slander,” which are used effectively to quash honest discussion of jihad and Islamic supremacism;
  • The freedom of conscience – as opposed to the Islamic death penalty for apostasy;
  • The equality of rights of all people before the law – as opposed to Sharia’s institutionalized discrimination against women and non-Muslims.
The Flotilla will call upon all free people of all races and creeds to stand with us to defend our freedoms against the radically intolerant ideology codified in Islamic law.
We had intended to announce the Freedom from Jihad Flotilla at our first SIOA/SIOE transatlantic pro-freedom conference but for the forces of evil.

Not Stealing Palestine but Purchasing Israel

by Daniel Pipes
National Review Online
June 21, 2011

Zionists stole Palestinian land: that's the mantra both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas teach their children and propagate in their media. This claim has vast importance, as Palestinian Media Watchexplains: "Presenting the creation of the [Israeli] state as an act of theft and its continued existence as a historical injustice serves as the basis for the PA's non-recognition of Israel's right to exist." The accusation of theft also undermines Israel's position internationally.
Palestinian imagery: A Star-of-David-shark devours Palestine.
But is this accusation true?

No, it is not. Ironically, the building of Israel represents about the most peaceable in-migration and state creation in history. To understand why requires seeing Zionism in context. Simply put, conquest is the historic norm; governments everywhere were established through invasion, nearly all states came into being at someone else's expense. No one is permanently in charge, everyone's roots trace back to somewhere else.
Germanic tribes, Central Asian hordes, Russian tsars, and Spanish and Portuguese conquistadors remade the map. Modern Greeks have only a tenuous connection to the Greeks of antiquity. Who can count the number of times Belgium was overrun? The United States came into existence by defeating Native Americans. Kings marauded in Africa, Aryans invaded India. In Japan, Yamato-speakers eliminated all but tiny groups such as the Ainu.
The Middle East, due to its centrality and geography, has experienced more than its share of invasions, including the Greek, Roman, Arabian, Crusader, Seljuk, Timurid, Mongolian, and modern European. Within the region, dynastic froth caused the same territory – Egypt for example – to be conquered and re-conquered.

Many wars over Jerusalem: Emperor Titus celebrated his victory over the Jews in 70 A.D. with an arch showing Roman soldiers carrying off a menorah from the Temple Mount.
The land that now makes up Israel was no exception. In Jerusalem Besieged: From Ancient Canaan to Modern Israel, Eric H. Cline writes of Jerusalem: "No other city has been more bitterly fought over throughout its history." He backs up that claim, counting "at least 118 separate conflicts in and for Jerusalem during the past four millennia." He calculates Jerusalem to have been destroyed completely at least twice, besieged 23 times, captured 44 times, and attacked 52 times. The PA fantasizes that today's Palestinians are descended from a tribe of ancient Canaan, theJebusites; in fact, but they are overwhelmingly the off-spring of invaders and immigrants seeking economic opportunities.

Against this tableau of unceasing conquest, violence, and overthrow, Zionist efforts to build a presence in the Holy Land until 1948 stand out as astonishingly mild, as mercantile rather than military. Two great empires, the Ottomans and the British, ruled Eretz Yisrael; in contrast, Zionists lacked military power. They could not possibly achieve statehood through conquest.

Instead, they purchased land. Acquiring property dunam by dunam, farm by farm, house by house, lay at the heart of the Zionist enterprise until 1948. The Jewish National Fund, founded in 1901 to buy land in Palestine "to assist in the foundation of a new community of free Jews engaged in active and peaceable industry," was the key institution – and not the Haganah, the clandestine defense organization founded in 1920.
Zionists also focused on the rehabilitation of what was barren and considered unusable. They not only made the desert bloom but drained swamps, cleared water channels, reclaimed wasteland, forested bare hills, cleared rocks, and removed salt from the soil. Jewish reclamation and sanitation work precipitously reduced the number of disease-related deaths.

Only when the British mandatory power gave up on Palestine in 1948, followed immediately by an all-out attempt by Arab states to crush and expel the Zionists, did the latter take up the sword in self defense and go on to win land through military conquest. Even then, as the historian Efraim Karsh demonstrates inPalestine Betrayed, most Arabs fled their lands; exceedingly few were forced off.

This history contradicts the Palestinian account that "Zionist gangs stole Palestine and expelled its people" which led to a catastrophe "unprecedented in history" (according to a PA 12th-grade textbook) or that Zionists "plundered the Palestinian land and national interests, and established their state upon the ruins of the Palestinian Arab people" (writes a columnist in the PA's daily). International organizations, newspaper editorials, and faculty petitions reiterate this falsehood worldwide.

Israelis should hold their heads high and point out that the building of their country was based on the least violent and most civilized movement of any people in history. Gangs did not steal Palestine; merchants purchased Israel.

  • The ultimate justification for the Jewish presence is, of course, the ancient tie and the love of Zion, not modern land purchases; but these purchases reinforce the legitimacy of the in-migration.
  • "Palestine" today represents the country that would rise out of Israel's elimination; but in the decades before the creation of Israel in 1948, the term represented Zionist aspirations.
  • The anti-Zionist argument emphasizes that, at the time of the British withdrawal in 1948, Jews owned only 6 to 10 percent of the territory's land area. True, but when one discounts uncultivated and public land, the percentage becomes very much higher.
  • The United States Government engaged in conquest against Indians but it too purchased substantial portions of its patrimony, especially the Louisiana Purchase of 1803 and the Alaska Purchase of 1867.
  • By coincidence, the Wall Street Journal published an article yesterday, "What If Jews Had Followed the Palestinian Path?" by Warren Kozak that makes a parallel point to my own: "It is doubtful that there has ever been a more miserable human refuse than Jewish survivors after World War II... Yet within a very brief time, this epic calamity disappeared, so much so that few people today even remember the period. How did this happen in an era when Palestinian refugees have continued to be stateless for generations?"

Israel Strikes it Rich Someday!

By Bill Salus

The bible predicted the coming of a reestablished and extremely prosperous Israel. Ezekiel 36:24 and elsewhere foretold that the Jews would be regathered from the nations of the world into their own homeland. What had begun as a trickle around the turn of the century and then accelerated in the aftermath of WWII, the return of the Jews to the land as prophesied became official on May 14, 1948.

Ezekiel 36:8-12 informed that upon their return, the land of Israel would be tilled, sown, and become extremely fruitful. Ezekiel declares the historic ruins would be rebuilt and the ancient cities repopulated. In these passages, he predicts the Jews will be more prosperous than at any prior time in their history. This is a startling prediction considering the land of Israel lay mostly desolate between A.D. 70 and May, 1948 when Israel was restored as the Jewish State.

Equally as impressive is that Israel’s abundance appears to proportionately exceed the national treasures King Solomon accumulated nearly 3000-years ago. According to 1 Kings 10, King Solomon was the wealthiest king on earth during his reign over Israel.

“So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.” (1 Kings 10:23, ASV)
1 Chronicles 22:14-16 informs that Solomon owned a seemingly limitless supply of gold, silver, bronze, and iron. The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia says Solomon possessed “A sum greater than the national debt of Great Britain.”We are told in 2 Chronicles 9:13 that one year Solomon’s estimated income was 666-talents, which is the approximate equivalent today of $708,400,000. (i) These earnings represented a monumental amount of annual wealth at that time.

Presently, the cities are being rebuilt and repopulated, and Israel is becoming very prosperous, but have they accumulated all the riches predicted?
In 2009 and 2010 Israel discovered large natural gas resources. Some eschatologistsbelieve Israelis will also someday discover crude oil underneath their fertile soil. Natural gas and crude oil could certainly become contributors toward Israel’s foretold fortunes, but what does scripture point to, possibly in addition to these resources?

Ezekiel 38:1-13 informs that a major alliance will form to invade Israel to confiscate Israel’s riches. Ezekiel 38:13 specifically states this confederacy comes for Israel’s great spoil. This prophecy, commonly referred to among scholars as the Gog of Magog invasion, remains unfulfilled. Should no unforeseen circumstances prohibit, this means Israel has more time to amass an even greater fortune beforehand.

The Hebrew words utilized for the Magog invaders goal to capture great spoil are, shalal gadol shalal. According to the definitions given in the New America Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries, these words can be translated successively to read, “Plunder the great spoil of the despoilers.” Despoil means to deprive someone of something valuable by force. (ii)
It suggests that the invaders are coming to plunder the spoils Israel previously captured from another. Along these lines, the widely respected eschatologistDr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum, teaches that the Magog invaders are coming to, “To take a spoil of a spoil.” (iii)

In the prior verse, Ezekiel 38:12, the prophet says the Magog invaders are coming after acquired, or gotten, cattle and goods. The Hebrew word is “asah” and suggests that Israel has acquired livestock and commercial goods externally, perhaps more so than developed them from their own natural resources and / or commercial endeavors.

If the enticing great spoil spoken of is acquired, more so than homegrown, then where does it originate? Zechariah 14:14 appears to hold an important clue in this regard. Apparently Israel acquires it from the Arab nations round about them.

And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the (Arab) nations round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. (Zechariah 14:14, ASV; emphasis added)
Zechariah declares that Israel gathers great abundance from the neighboring Arab nations “round about.” Zechariah 14:14 appears to find connection with Zechariah 12:2, 6. To get a greater understanding of this connection, compare this article with the one called “Those Surrounding Israel to be Devoured!”

Zechariah chapters 12 and 14 find connection in that portions of each chapter address the wars between Israel and its hostile Arab neighbors, and the subsequent conflict fought by Jesus Christ against the Antichrist and his armies during the campaign of Armageddon. These are two distinct wars that are intricately interwoven between Zechariah’s chapters 12 and 14.

Zechariah 12:6 below, and 14:14 above, specifies that the I.D.F., represented as Judah, fights the Arab nations round about for possession of Jerusalem.

In that day will I make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and they of Jerusalem shall yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem. (Zec. 12:6, ASV)
The I.D.F. is instrumental in Israel’s fight against the Arab confederacy of Psalm 83, but does not appear to get involved in the war waged between Christ and the armies of the Antichrist. Isaiah 63:1-6 informs us that the Messiah, as the one who is mighty to save, goes into battle alone. The absence of the I.D.F. in the battle of Armageddon is reinforced by Zechariah 13:8, which points out that two-thirds of the Jewish population living in the land of Israel at the time will not survive. Zechariah’s prophecy infers the I.D.F. will flee from the armies of the Antichrist, rather than fight against them.

According to bible prophecy, Israel is on route to striking it rich someday. Their blossoming portfolio appears to include Arab spoils of war. Once obtained, the Ezekiel 38 Magog invaders are enticed to coalesce in an attempt to capture Israel’s new national livelihood, which should by then include the acquired Arab resources, including oil and natural gas, plundered by Israel after their decisive victory over the Psalm 83 Arab nations round about.

Psalm 83 is a prophecy formatted into an imprecatory prayer. It foretells the coming of a climatic concluding conflict between the I.D.F. and the Arab nations that share common borders with Israel. Presently those Arab nations are using the Palestinians as pawns in their ongoing war against Israel. This plight of the Palestinians also appears to have been predicted. Refer to the article called “Palestinians to be forced to Israel’s borders.”
(i) Internet accessed on 6/16/2010 at - “In the Bible at 2 Chronicles 9:13 it says that Solomon had a basic yearly revenue of 666 Talents or 22,000 kilograms of Gold. A talent weighed between 20 and 40 KG but the average estimated is 33kg. The price today of one kilogram of Gold is estimated at $32,200 so his yearly income was $708,400,000 a year. Seven hundred eight million, four hundred thousand dollars a year.”

The Apple of His Eye

by: ProIsrael
God calls the nation of Israel “the apple of his eye.” In the Bible, God uses the phrase, “the apple of his eye” to show how much he valued Israel. Before God changed Israel’s name from Jacob, it is said in Deuteronomy 32:10 (KJV), “He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.” This verse showed that God carefully protected Jacob, who was later named Israel. King David knew how important “the apple of the eye” was when he recorded in Psalms 17:8, praying, “Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings.” King David wanted the LORD to guard him carefully just as He would his own eye. Finally, in Zechariah 2:8 God said to his people through the prophet Zechariah, “For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.” The Lord was warning other nations through the prophet Zechariah that they should not bother his people, the Israelites.

Historically, God gave Abram a blessing before he turned him into Abraham. Abram, which meant “Exalted Father,” was given a promise by God after being commanded to “get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee.” God promised him, “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed (Genesis 12:1-3).” God promised Abram land saying, “Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee (Genesis 13:14b-17),” Next, God made a covenant with Abram, saying, “Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates; (Genesis 15:18).” Then, God changed Abram’s name into Abraham, which now meant “Father of Many Nations”, and established his covenant with him saying, “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God (Genesis 17:8).” Also, in Exodus 23:31, God told them the boundaries of the land, “And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the seaof the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.”

If someone poked you in the eye, that would really hurt! That is what happened to God’s eye! Some people have poked God in the eye! “…for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye (Zechariah 2:8).” The important leaders of the United States and Israel have made some bad decisions to poke God in the eye. They did this when they made bad decisions that would affect Israel negatively. They did this when they divided their Israeli land and gave it up to their Arab neighbors for a peace that never comes – the so-called “Peace Talks.” The problem with these mistakenly-called “Peace Talks” is that the Arabs, or so-called Palestinians, do not talk or act peacefully. They may talk “Peace, Peace” in English in front of the international media, but in the Arabic language, they talk of destruction and annihilation of the Jewish people (Koenig, 23). This was shown true when Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that they should wipe out Israel, while thousands of Iranians chanted “death to Israel,” “death to America (Israel My Glory, 5, July/August 2006).” Indeed, their violent actions and countless suicide bombings show clearly that they are not a peaceful people nor is Islam a peaceful religion. Ever since Israel became a nation again on May 14, 1948, there have been five wars, specifically in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, 1982, and the 2000-2004 Intifada (Koenig, ix), which were violent attempts to take away the Israel land. The Arab people did not want this land when it was wasted and empty. They wanted it only after the Jewish people cultivated it, after it became fruitful and prosperous (Koenig, xvi). The Arab people, such as the nations of Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Algeria, Kuwait, and Sudan (Koenig, 223), who are the descendants of Ishmael, about who was fortold by God that “he will be a wild man: his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him”; (Genesis 16:12a), are hostile to the Jewish nation. In fact, God warned the Israelites ahead of time in Exodus 23:32 not to make contracts with such violent and oppressive men, “Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me; for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.” Also, God commanded Israel not to give away their God-given land in Ezekiel 48:14, 29, “And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the first fruits of the land: for it is holy unto the LORD.” In Ezekiel 48:29, God further stated, “This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord GOD.” The only dividing that is supposed to be going on is between the tribes of Israel, not outside of the nation of Israel, and certainly not to other nations who want to destroy them.

However, on October 24, 2004 the reported that the Israeli Parliament had voted 67-45 on Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s plan to disengage or withdraw from the Gaza Strip. On August 12, 2005 the USINFO.STATE.GOV reported that President Bush was in favor of Jewish withdrawal from their lands in return for peace with the Palestinians. It reported that he supported the decision of then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to trade Jewish land for false hopes of Mideast peace. On August 15, 2005, Jewish people had to start evacuating their homes in the Gaza Strip (AP news). Moreover, another 1,000 people also had to withdraw from four northern West Bank settlements (Cleveland By August 23, 2005, Israel had completed Gaza Strip and West Bank pull-outs. (Wikinews).

Remember what God had said to Abram? “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee:” On the same day, August 23, 2005, the Katrina Hurricane started to form (Wikipedia). Hurricane Katrina is known to be the costliest and one of the deadliest hurricanes so far. It is the third strongest to ever hit the United States. (Wikipedia). It is eye-opening to see that there is a pattern in the United States related to bad decisions concerning dividing Israel’s land and the formations of hurricanes or natural disasters that hit America. In fact, Bill Koenig, a Washington Correspondent, authored a book called, Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel, which shows that recent hurricanes such as Hurricanes Lili, Dennis, Katrina, Rita, Wilma, Claudette, Isabel, Charley, Frances, Ivan, Jeanne all occurred at times connecting to the land of Israel and the U.S. leaders pressuring it to divide and give away their land to their enemies. In addition, unprecedented numbers and the severity of tornadoes, floods, and fires also have occurred at the same time with America’s negative disregard of Israel’s land and of God’s Word. More specifically, solar flares, the Space Shuttle Columbia explosion, Anthrax Attacks in the mail, Tropical Storm Allison, the worst drought/heat wave, and the infamous 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers in New York are among other catastrophes related to support of “Peace Talks” and a “Palestinian State"(Koenig ). American leaders such as President Bush Sr., President Clinton, and now President W. Bush have all made negative decisions concerning Israel’s land by pressuring them to give up their lands. Land for peace does not work! America has paid the consequences for poking God in the eye. Up until May 2006, there have been 57 catastrophes related to these “Peace Talks.” (Koenig). The only thing about these “Peace Talks” that is successful is that they break America into broken pieces.

The world needs people to support the land of Israel to keep their God-given land. In the U.S. presidential history, U.S Presidents Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Harry S. Truman, (Koenig, 158) have all supported Israel’s right to grow as a nation, even if nominally. It’s dismaying to see that talks of dividing the land again are resurfacing. We need to stay away from that. We the people need to recognize that our best interests are in defending the right of Israel to be their own nation that keeps their own land for their own people. Whenever we try to divide their land, we end up getting hit back. We need to sow protection and concern for Israel and help support them. Even Warren Buffet, one of the most successful stock holders, is successfully financial in his dealings because he is a pro-Israeli stock holder. By the way, he gave a lot of his money to the Bill Gates Foundation. We will be blessed when we do what is right concerning Israel. Furthermore, the divestment (or taking away) of church funds from Israel is in the wrong. So-called Evangelicals calling for a support of taking away the land of Israel and dividing it up are ignorant of God’s Word, and they are following a devilish program, unbeknownst to them, which is called Replacement Theology. We need to know that it is in our best interest to help the chosen people of God to follow the promises of God. After all, the same God that gave promises to Israel is the same God who has given promises to the church. I speak facetiously when I ask this: if God does not keep his promises, though he certainly does, then how can we claim that he will be faithful, though he certainly is, to the church? It is in our best interest to give good treatment of Israel and to support them to keep their own land. We need to stop bothering them to divide their land. We the people of America and others who are concerned about making a historical difference need to take care of Israel just like they would take care of “the apple of his eye.” Our final defense is that we all get right with God and go back to the Word of God. After all, God takes care of us as the apple of his eye.
