I came across an expository in Daniel by Ray C. Stedman written in 1969. It describe the fourth kingdom of the great dream image in the book of Daniel which is be the last from the disappearance of the Grecian empire until the time when God sets up his own kingdom on earth; it is within the scope of this kingdom that we still live. I'm impress by how relevant it is for the present time. The economic havoc seem to play an important part of bringing nations around the world to take control of their banks by bailing them out, nationalizing a good portion of them. It is a step closer of globalizing the monitory system to one central banking system. We can see the making of the 10 toes of the statue dreamed by king Nebuchadnezzar. Feet mix of iron and clay. All western nations (an extension of the Roman Emperor) combining their effort to save the world economy, which will bring the fulfilment of the prophetic dream. Are we there yet? How many of us (Christians) are anticipating Christ return? When I look at my life (past and present) and compare it with the one promise in the future (our blessed hope), I can't stop saying "Are we there yet?" I have experience failures in many part of my life. I failed in marriage twice (not counting the relationship before marriage). The present marriage survived by pure miracle. I am the only one on my side of the family who accepted Christ. My brother is an atheist, my sister is recovering from a bad experience with the new age movement, yet refuse to accept Christ to rebuke the spirit that followed her. My mother? She accepted Christ as many Catholics do which is faith plus work. My children who were influence by me (even separated I toke them to church every second weekend) live their lives without Christ. Free is free. All members of the body of Christ have the responsibility to share the gospel. In China, that is the only way that it is preach. In the western society it had been done through an apostolic structure. Many people prefer that system so that they could get away from their responsibility.   The Replacement Theology is the causes of many misconceptions and false doctrines. I defined the term "Replacement Theology " to be the belief that entered in the early Church that Christianity superseded Israel and that God's blessings are now for the Church.
